Golf
and Fishing in Islay
Why not bring your clubs to Islay and play a round of golf at the famous Machrie
Links Golf Course. Due to Islay’s relatively mild climate in contrast to
the mainland it is possible to play a round in any month of the year. It is said
that a round at the Machrie Links promises an unforgettable golfing experience.
If you fancy using your sea legs contact Islay Marine Charters who run sea fishing
trips and wildlife cruises out of Port Askaig. This is also a great way of viewing
Islay’s spectacular coastline from the open sea as well as other neighbouring
islands. Details, prices and timetables are available on the web site (see links
page) or Tel. 01496 850436.
